It's a Twin Thing...

Even though I'm not juggling two newborns anymore, there are times when the "twin thing" can still be hard...

...potty training...nap schedules...zipping into the post office...

...but much more often I'm reminded how truly special it is to have TWO precious babes going through the same developmental stages together.

A few days ago I was at the sink, when I heard Baby A say, "Here you go, Sissy!" I turned around to find her feeding her sister the last couple of bites of her oatmeal.

I don't normally allow many shenanigans at the breakfast table, but I couldn't resist grabbing my camera.

I love how Baby A is concentrating so hard to feed her sis!

...just another example of how cool that "twin thing" is!!!

I often say now "how sad for singletons to not have a twin". The bond of twins is so sweet! However did I survive childhood without a playmate just my size? :) Your girls are adorable!

How cute they are. I love the way they're so concerned one for the other :)

We had our BIG infertility gathering today - there were TONS of babies. 7 sets of twins and a gazillion singletons :)

I love the expression on Baby B's face as she takes a bite too! You captured the moment perfectly!

As my girls get older, and interact with one another more and more, it makes me smile to know that they'll grow up together, and always have one another.

I look forward to capturing many moments like this one!

That picture is pretty funny. It's the sweet moments of multiples that always amaze me. Just this morning my girls stood in a circle hugging one another and shouting "Best friends forever." It makes the "first year fog" well worth it.

Too sweet. My girls just started interacting with each other and I agree, the "twin thing" is awesome to watch

I'm starting to see more and more of that twin bond with mine too. It took Abby a long time to want to play and engage with Alex, but now that it's happening, it's pretty special to see. =)

I love having twins, too. I'm glad my 3 are relatively close together b/c at times I feel bad for Adam - he's always right on the other two's heels, but not right in the middle with them. There are times where I notice he's more hesitant on things than the other 2 are...but I think its b/c he has to navigate some things on his own, whereas they always have each other!
