I'm playing along again with the photography challenge that
Marcia and
Mandy are hosting. This week's theme is
SOUND.
Yet again, I can't say these pictures are masterpieces by photographic standards, but at least in my head, I can definitely hear a soundtrack playing when I look at them.
From our mini-vacay in July to Gatlinburg, TN, and Charlotte, NC, during which we saw Marcia and Mandy...

| Baby A loves to talk to animals, and she always uses the funniest voice. Here she is, cooing at the penguins at the Gatlinburg aquarium. |

| On the way to dinner on Sunday afternoon in Charlotte, we stopped to hear a little ensemble playing in Centre City. Baby A was taking it all in, while B was dancing with Daddy. I love the look on his face -- his "dancing face" I call it -- as he was grooving with his girl. |

| This was Monday morning at breakfast in the hotel lobby. I can just hear Marcia's voice as I look at this picture...appreciating the detail in whatever she was looking at. :) |

| At the ice cream shop one day, I was trying to take some pictures of the girls. B had had enough. "Stop, Mommy!" she'd just said, holding up her hand for emphasis! HA! |

| Here's Baby A, talking to one of her beloved goat friends at the petting zoo. "Hey, little goatie! I love you!" I'm not sure what the goat was saying in return, but you can tell from the look in her eyes that it was a meaningful conversation. |

So sweet, those conversations with animals! Nicola does that too. She always asks them if they are looking for their mama, which I get a kick out of. ;-)
First, I love that the others are coming to comment on your pics too :) :)
And then, I LOVE those pics of Charlotte. It takes me right back to that square where they were singing. One of my favourite moments of those days. I don't think I told you but I LOVED how we all stopped... to enjoy the small things and then how YOUR FAMILY started all spontaneously dancing. I was DELIGHTED! I printed that collage I sent you of the dancing Daddy and B - makes me smile so big!
ps I get a lot of the STOP with the pics from Kendra but I also get the most excited about pics from her so I don't mind it ... so much :)

I love the pictures. I now read Marcia's blog in her voice, LOL!
I seriously love the hand from B! I think they are all starting to stand their ground with pictures!
