Mirror-Image Twins

I usually say that our girls are *very* fraternal, as I don't think they favor very much physically.

Personality-wise, the girls are pretty different, too.

But in response to the question, "Do they get along?" I always answer to the affirmative. They complement each other so amazingly well, each moving seamlessly around the other.

They're not always playing together, but it seems there's always some level of awareness as to where Sissy is and what she's doing.

And oftentimes, I'll find the girls like this...me not having said a word, but the two of them, almost perfectly mirrored to the other...

They may not share the same DNA, but this twinship deal is certainly a beautiful thing.

looking at that picture you WOULD think they are identical...those kinda pics will be so special for them when they get older. They may come in handy when they are not getting along too well (teenage years perhaps?) to remind them of their special bond...LOL!

Happy Weekend!

I totally agree about twinship being a beautiful thing. I get teary-eyed every time I catch Em and Drew "mirroring" each other.

This is so sweet! We are in a bit of a fighting stage, so this gives me hope that there are better times ahead.

What a fabulous moment you were able to get on film (okay, so I know cameras don't really have film anymore, and I'm totally dating myself, but whatever, you know what I mean)!!!

Looks like they're taking their babies to the grocery store :)

You're right, this twinship thing IS a beautiful thing! And this is a priceless moment!

I would love to see this with my twins. They can be very affectionate with each other when one is upset but there isn't much in the way of happy play together these days. :-(

Love moments like these!! I love that even though I have b/g twins, that they still do so much together. And if Sarah wanders away, then Adam steps right in and its the boys together.

and the playing together nicely.

Mine only like to say "where's Connor?" or "where's Kenna?" - they want to make sure everyone's in their place LOL

So sweet! I don't notice it when it's happening, but photos always capture my "very fraternal" boys with almost identical movements and mannerisms. The bond truly is an amazing thing.

I agree...they are always aware.

The doctor asked me if they play together when they're in school and I answered "no." However, they always know where the other one is and check up on each other. I love that about them.
