My Heart Grows Bigger with Every Year...

We didn't make it out for a family dinner last weekend for Valentine's Day, so we took the girls to a restaurant downtown last night for a belated celebration.

We actually didn't mention anything about Valentine's Day, as I have been working all week to reiterate that "Valentine's Day is over"...but I just had to find an opportunity for the girls to wear the polka-dot dresses I bought them last year on clearance with this specific holiday in mind!

Here's my favorite picture from the evening, as we made a quick stop through Fountain Square on our way to dinner...the girls were on a mission to get to the fountain to see the water!

And, because I CANNOT RESIST a good photo-comparison opportunity (!!!), of course we took pictures before we left the house.

From teeny-tiny babies...
...to bigger babies...
...to little girls!
Gulp! How in the heck did this happen so suddenly?!!!

I'm just hanging on for the ride, loving my sweetest little valentines every day, with all my heart!

Wow!! I love the photos. It really does put life into perpective. It goes so fast!! I love the girls' dresses this year. So cute! Thanks for your awesome response to my current issue (diapering), too. It's crazy how these phases control out lives (at the time) and then they pass. at the time, though, it seems like it will never end and this has been a really long one for me. Hope you guys had a fun night. Looks like you did!!

How cute are they! I love the comparison photos! I just realized you always had A and B on the same side in each photo. Did you do that intentually or did it just work out that way. It just made me think if I have one or another on a certain side! I know I always say or write Molly first because she is the oldest, but I think I try and do the same in pictures too! In fact I know if it is a stage photo I put Molly on the left hand side. I guess I am a little OCD about it because it drives me crazy when people LRL address Luke first because he is the baby! I think they do it because he is the boy. I asked my sister one time would you list your youngest before your oldest on a card?!?!? Wow....where did that come from! Sorry to go off on that.

I love the dresses! They look adorable! They the pic on the 3 of you walking! Love them all actually!

Love Andrea's OCD-ness - I honestly have never given it a thought and I write K first or C first depending on how much space there is on the card, or my mood.

Yes, very loosey-goosey.

You and your girls are SO cute!!!! LOVE the dresses

I know exactly what you mean! I feel like I have been looking at my kids a lot lately and saying to myself "look how big they are!" and "I can't believe they are going to be TWO!" I miss my little babies sometimes, but I am having a blast with these kids!!

Love those pictures!!! Wish all of mine were on the same computer! I'm way too lazy to dig through another hard drive to find old ones...more power to you!

They are so darn cute and I love seeing the pics of them over the last couple years for comparison's sake!

Yes, hold on for dear life...time goes by quickly, too quickly!

Those dresses are adorable! I love the comparison photos too. It's amazing how much they change each year, isn't it?

And yes, it's so cliche, but they do grow up so quickly. I can't believe mine are about to turn three. These last few years seem to have flown by so much more quickly than the ones that came before and I am powerless to slow them down.
