Well...you can't exactly see a cotton-white tail, but I'm quite sure he has one...and the girls will tell you, this bunny is coming soon!
Over the past couple of days, the girls and I have been working on bunnies. Onto small paper plates, I drew on a mouth. And then we used as many different-textured bits and pieces as we could find...
- Buttons for eyes
- Felt for the nose
- Yarn for whiskers
- Cotton balls for cheeks (I guess you call them???)
- Tissue paper for the inside of the ears
- Ribbon around his neck
This was largely an exercise in gluing for the girls, but they had fun sorting through my big jar of buttons to find a matching set, and they threaded the ribbon through two holes for me to tie the bow.
I love how these turned out...and the girls love seeing their handiwork decorating the mantle!
The girls are so excited about all things spring and Easter...we're definitely having a fun time celebrating!
I'm linking up with Adventures-in-Mommy-Land for Hey, Mom! Look What I Did! Thanks for so much great kiddie craft inspiration, Miss Charlene!
