It's Spring Break in these parts...so we've been enjoying Daddy AND the girls being home! I'm a bit behind on posting Easter pictures, but...better late than never. We had such a fun day!
The girls found their bunnies waiting on them on the couch. They grabbed their own ears and indulged Mommy in an early-morning picture. |
The girls had been talking about cinnamon rolls shaped like bunnies for weeks, so that's what they got. They also added eggs shaped like chicks to their menu plan, and I was thankful to be able to make that work, too. |
All dressed up and digging into baskets! |
It made me laugh that Baby A automatically grabbed both baskets when it was time to migrate into the den...HA! |
Exploring baskets a second time, now in the den. |
After they each downed one Cadbury mini egg, they changed clothes and commenced playing. Their shared toy was this pastry set for their kitchen...they love it!!! |
Focus on B's eyelashes as she checked out one of her new books. |
Snuggling with Daddy and the bunnies to read our books...one on "Volcanoes" and one on "Planet Earth". |
We were so thankful to share Easter dinner with our friends, M&C.
The kiddos played together so well, as usual, and we enjoyed a huge meal
together.
As we ate, I couldn't help but listen to part of the kiddos' conversation...B said something about "Green Eggs and Ham"...and it was so stinkin' adorable to hear the CONVERSATION about it. It's hard to believe our babies are old enough to have DINNER CONVERSATION!!!
Eating Jello eggs and cheesecake for dessert...they were a happy bunch! |
Getting ready to hunt eggs!!! |
It had rained the night before, so we had to have an indoor hunt...the kiddos didn't mind a bit, though! |
Checking out all the LOOT!!! |
Thanks to Miss Demara, all the little bunnies got matching ears...picture perfect!!! |
So thankful for such a fun day...made even better by sharing it with friends. :) :)

I'm not sure there's anything much cuter than that first bunny eared picture in jammies!
Looks like you had a great Easter. I love their Beatrix Potter baskets. And your clever breakfast. And the kids all egg hunting in their slippers... that's my kind of hunt. :)
Awww I love their jammies and bunny ears. That breakfast came out really cute! And I can't believe how much taller A is than B....they are growing up on you mama!!
