Since the girls' 4-month well-baby visit, I've made a habit of taking a picture before each such appointment with the pediatrician. The girlies are always dressed in cute little outfits, I have actually applied make-up and done my hair (!!!), and I can attach their exact height and weight to the photo for their scrapbooks.
The girls got a glowing report. Baby A measured 21 pounds and 10 ounces (15th percentile), and 32" long (55th percentile). Baby B measured 23 pounds and 3 ounces (40th percentile), and 31.5" long (45th percentile).
These percentiles are very consistent with how they've measured over the past year. I'm always excited to see the girls are average, even slightly above average in A's case, in the height department. I maintain hope they'll surpass their 5' 1.5" Mommy!
The girls only had to get one booster shot, and they won't have any more shots until they're 4 years old...hallelujah! I couldn't believe that Baby A didn't even cry - not one bit! - when she got her shot. I literally asked the nurse if she was certain she gave it to her. Baby B made up for A's Cool as a Cucumber status with a very hearty scream, but fortunately she calmed down pretty quickly.
Having healthy babies...and getting the green light to introduce nuts, honey, and shellfish...makes my Monday!
