One day, an older lady approached me in the grocery while I was waxing lyrical on the subject of cans of beans and their colours. She said, "What you're doing is the best thing for your children. They'll reap benefits you won't even recognize. Good job, mom."<br /><br />So, I say the same to you. Good job, mom.<br /><br />About a year later, we were again in front of the bean cans, and Melody asked me, "Mom, is rectangle just a big square?" I don't her no, and defined squares and rectangles and told her that a square was a kind of rectangle.
