I have so many good one of all the grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins coming together to celebrate- us kids doing whatever in the basement while the grown-ups chatted and cooked upstairs. Good times!<br /><br />The wishbone was a big thing for us too. But we also broke the wishbone every time we had a roasted chicken for dinner. I always lost when I pulled against my stepfather. At some point when I was old enough not to really care, he told me that the secret is not to pull. If one person pulls and the other one just holds steady, the one who pulls will lose.
